About me

Hello All!  My name is Rose Fraze and I am a long-time resident of the Commonwealth of Virginia. I have two young adult children who are both pursuing their goals in education and work.  They inspire me daily with their passion, energy and support.  Hobbies, in my spare time, include reading and spending time with family.

I have been in education for quite a while now.  I was a High School Language  During that time, I taught English grades 9-12, special education team taught, pre IB English 10 and IBDP English 12 in addition to Reading.  My last five years in the classroom were spent also serving as the Department Chair for a staff of over twenty teachers.

I then moved into Administration and am currently entering my 15th year as a High School Assistant Principal.  I have supervised all departments and managed all aspects of the schoolhouse.  I have served as long-term acting principal when needed. Mentoring aspiring and new administrators is of particular joy to me

My professional passions have been, and continue to be, secondary literacy, grading and assessment, at-risk students, special education, and Emotional Intelligence.  I lead with compassion and authenticity always serving my community knowing life is lived in the everyday moments and daily positves. 💙
